Yes you can. You can use your first name or a nickname for all of your communication on the site.
To have your nickname displayed:
A. Go to Edit Profile
B. Select which name you wish to have displayed in the "Nickname" field.
C. Select use my nickname only
D. Click on submit.
Please note: We will edit offensive nicknames, or nicknames that give out personal information. We
randomly add numbers and letters to nicknames to protect your privacy. Your last name is confidential
information and no one ever sees it nor can they retrieve it on the system.
Can personal information be included in a public profile?
No. Personal information such as telephone numbers, emails, and web sites, can't be displayed on public profiles. This is Halachacly and ethically wrong; and we consider repeat offenders as attempting to steal. We discourage anyone from contacting a member with personal information posted. Type a subject. Type your message, and click "Send Message"
Your email will be sent anonymously to the mailbox of the other person. We will also send a
notification to the other person's regular email address, so they know they have a message from you.
We will also include a link back to your profile, so that the reader can easily see who on the site
sent them a message.
Your e-mail address will not be disclosed at any time until you decide to disclose it yourself.

What is a wink?
A wink, just like in the real world, shows your
interest in someone you saw online. It simply stamps the other person's profile with this automated
message.
Only sending a member an email or chat invitation can begin an actual conversation.
Remember: Non paid members can't respond to winks.
If you are a paid member, do not use winks as the other party will only be able to wink back. A wink contains
no personal information you will not establish a connection. If you are a non-paying member,
login and click on "upgrade membership" to choose the membership plan that best suits you!
How do I send a Wink?

B. Have the profile of the person you wish to wink on the screen.

How do I use Video/Audio/Text Chat?
When you are logged in, you can send instant messages to other members who are online as well providing
you are a paid member. Non-paid members can receive invitations to chat.
A. Click on the "Chat with me now" button on that member's profile.
B. This button will appear if that member is online also. Otherwise, this button will not be available
as an option.
C. If you have a web cam you can send video messages by clicking on "Send AV".

Search order - which profiles come up first?
If you have a basic membership profiles are displayed according to most viewed profiles with pictures first.
If you are a premium member, you can select to view profiles according to: Any Order, Activity (from most recent login),
Newest (from most recent sign-ups), from most frequent viewings. These options are on the Advanced Search page.
How can I appear at the top of searches?
A. Place a photo on your profile
B. Login regularly
By doing these two actions, you are increasing your
visibility and your profile will appear at the top of searches made by
other members.
Can I search anonymously?
A. Login
B. Click on Edit Profile
C. Turn on feature that allows you to search without stamping profiles in About Me.
Note: You need to be a paid member to use this feature.
Members who have upgraded to one of our membership plans can search and look at profiles anonymously. This
means that as a subscriber, you are able to turn on this feature in your profile that will enable you to look
at other member's profiles without stamping them with your member ID number.

Where is my photo that I sent to
you?
If you have emailed your photos to us in JPEG format at photos@jqscorp.com, our team is approving
them and is in the process of posting them for you.
If you have sent them by mail, this may take a few business days to receive them, have them scanned,
cropped and placed on your profile. This may be why you are experiencing a delay in seeing them appear
on your profile.
We will email you when your pictures have been placed
on your profile.
Are users required to post a
photo?
Photos are free, optional, and highly recommended. Members with pictures receive more emails and
are more successful on our site.
Putting a photo on your profile will also increase the frequency of your profile showing up on member
searches. Most members choose to view profiles with pictures when they do an advanced search.
Do you have any suggestions on what photos to
post?
Make sure you use a good quality photo. This is the first physical impression you will give. We
recommend close up headshots and full body photos. A nice picture of you smiling is always a winner.
Avoid pictures with other people, pictures taken in dark places and especially those that are outdated
or no longer accurately represent your style today. You will appreciate this from members as well.
Offensive photos will be deleted and may result in suspending your profile without further notice. Also,
pictures that are of anything or anyone else other than yourself such as scenery, your pets, etc.. will
be removed. Please refrain from putting pictures with children on the site.
